Brittany Mitchel is a Managing Director for D2 Asset Management. At D2, she is responsible for managing the full life cycle of the firm's commercial debt and equity investments, including underwriting, credit analysis, deal structuring, transaction management, closing, capital markets, and asset management.  

Prior to joining D2, Mitchel was a Director at NewPoint Real Estate Capital, where she oversaw the upfront screening, structuring and credit processes for their proprietary lending products, with a focus on multifamily bridge loans.  She also contributed to NewPoint's expansion into CMBS, preferred equity, fixed-rate bridge, and build-to-rent product offerings.  

Before joining NewPoint in 2022, Mitchel was a Director at Lument, where she evaluated both multifamily bridge and mezzanine loans for investment through proprietary executions. She previously worked at Rosin & Associates as a third-party CMBS and balance sheet contract underwriter across all property types and markets.

Mitchel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University.
