John Cannon is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Multifamily Sourcing. John has over 40 years of experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry.  

Past employment includes 4 years as President of CPC Mortgage and Executive Vice President of a national non-profit – Community Preservation Corporation - focused on Affordable Housing, 8 years serving as head of national production within Freddie Mac’s Multifamily division, and 27 years at Berkadia where he led the conventional mortgage banking network, GSE lending, proprietary lending, and investment sales platforms. John has also served for two years as a Board member of Preferred Apartments, a NYSE traded company, until it was purchased by Blackstone in 2022. John is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Germantown Academy in Fort Washington PA.

John is an alumnus of Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania and earned his Master of Science in Finance at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
