As Senior Managing Director and Head of Multifamily Operations for D2 Asset Management, Michael Golfman oversees all aspects of multifamily finance operations, including transaction management, servicing, fund management, investor reporting, marketing strategy and technology solutions. 

In his capacity as Head of Multifamily Operations, Golfman provides support for the development and execution of D2's multifamily investment strategies, including fixed-rate lending, bridge lending, construction lending, and preferred equity. Prior to joining D2, Golfman worked as Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations within NewPoint Real Estate Capital's Proprietary Products group. 

During his time at NewPoint, Golfman was responsible for the development of multiple investment strategies, including multifamily bridge lending, a dedicated build-to-rent financing program, preferred equity, CMBS and healthcare bridge-to-HUD. As Head of Investor Relations at NewPoint, Golfman was responsible for all fundraising, investor reporting and fund administration initiatives. 

He previously held operations and credit positions at Hunt Real Estate Capital (n/k/a Lument) and real estate development positions at a family office located in Denver, Colorado. Golfman holds a BSBA in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver and is a CFA® charterholder.
